2013 HCAD PROPERTY TAX PROTESTS TO BEGIN SOON – PROTEST DEADLINE MAY 31

Harris County Appraisal District (HCAD) has mailed the first large batch of property tax valuation notices to approximately 840,000 Houston-area residents.

Notices should begin to arrive next week for most homeowners. HCAD will mail out additional values as they become available. Homeowners can begin assessment protests immediately after they receive their notices.
